1. Can you introduce yourself and Simplace?
My name is Jesse Simons and I am the founder of Simplace. Just a quick background story about myself. I am a young (23 years old) driven entrepreneur that loves flying and racing.
2. How was Simplace born? How did you start?
From the age of 15 till the age of 18 I flew small airplanes like the Cessna 172 and besides real flying I also flew a lot on my own flight simulator cockpit that I completely built myself. Around my 18th I also started to get a lot of interest in racing, hence why I bought myself a sim racing rig, steering wheel and pedals to try to get myself into esports competitions. Unfortunately I wasn’t quick enough to reach the sim racing eSports level and decided to back out of it. After a few years of sim racing and years of flying I decided to walk a new path. I decided to sell all my flight simulation and sim racing equipment to make one of my dreams reality. This dream was to build the world’s biggest marketplace for sim racing and flight simulation equipment, a central place where businesses and consumers are connected with each other, a place where supply and demand comes together.
In 2019 my dream became reality. With my own investment and the investment from family I was able to build the first version of the marketplace that launched at the end march 2020 under the name Simplace. After the first month we already had over 6 businesses joining Simplace to sell their sim racing and flight simulation equipment, however not soon after COVID-19 hit and we had to take a step back. Businesses started to close and our vendors postponed the collaborations to the end of August/beginning of May. This was a difficult time since I just launched the marketplace where I put all my hard work and money into. Luckily I was able to keep the marketplace up and running till September. Around this time I contacted all the sim racing and flight simulation companies that you could imagine that exist in this industry.
3. What makes Simplace different? Can you explain your products with details?
From September onwards more and more businesses started selling their products on my marketplace. Currently we have over 20 companies worldwide that sell in total over 1300+ products on Simplace. Our Instagram page grew exponentially as well, to almost 7000 followers (organically). Around November I also released the new version of Simplace. This new version has a completely new user interface, user experience and helps increase the reachability to our audience.
The coming weeks we will also announce the release of our 2nd hand marketplace where people with used sim racing or flight simulation equipment can sell their equipment to someone else who is looking for those items.
4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?
Really simple.

4. We offer fast global shipping on the majority of our items.
5. Visitors will also be able to sell their used sim racing or flight simulation equipment on the Simplace 2nd hand page in the near future.
5. What are the advantages of Simplace?
My aim and vision is to make Simplace the worlds biggest marketplace for sim racing and flight simulation equipment. A central place that connects consumers and businesses as well as consumers to consumers.
