1. Can you introduce yourself and Tahylor Made?
My name is Ty Taylor the owner of Tahylor Made Apparel. I’m a serial entrepreneur that created my own lane in the t-shirt business. Tahylor Made Apparel is an apparel statement t-shirt brand with lifestyle accessories inspired by conversations of my culture.
2. How was Tahylor Made born? How did you start?
Tahylor Made was a rebrand idea that started in 2020. Our company was formally called Just b. Her, which started in 2017. After some time the direction of the company wasn’t really flowing for me, so I decided to do a careful rebrand. For many years I wanted to start a T-shirt line but I wasn’t sure how to get started. I finally came up with the idea in early 2017 and took the leap of faith in T-shirt entrepreneurship.
3. What makes Tahylor Made different? Can you explain your products with details?
We really specialize in customer personalization. Although we’re a brand, we also allow our customers to “tahylor” their tees to their specifications. We allow customers to change wording of our current designs to fit their personality. We also have custom tees where customers can enter their own information. Customers love the ability to add their own flare.
4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?
After we branded the pandemic hit and we were so unsure about how our customers would take the rebrand and if they would buy in the middle of a historic event. Little did we know our customers loved the rebrand and the new products. Our customer base has grown exponentially and they’re loving the new style of the business. We have multiple repeat customers that keep their eyes out for new products. Customer word of mouth is huge for us. By our customers sharing pics and their experience with our business, it puts a new set of eyes on what we do. We love it.
5. What are the advantages of Tahylor Made?
Tahylor Made Apparel is the brand that allows you to be you. It speaks to what customers feel without saying a word. Many people are closed in and can’t really speak their minds. We make tees that starts the conversation and allow our customers to express themselves in ways they may not be able to verbalize. Our bold statements are definitely eye catching and customers just gravitate to it.
