1. Can you introduce yourself and Brown Eyed Naturals Co?

Hi, my name is Lauren and I’m the owner of Brown-Eyed Naturals Co. We’re a family-owned Lifestyle & Self Care Shop, dedicated to helping women #BuildALifestyleOfSelfCare through Notebooks/journals, planners, mugs and printable art. We’ve also got a clothing line in the works – stay tuned.

2. How was Brown Eyed Naturals Co born? How did you start?

Our business began as a hobby during the later part of 2019 and we officially launched in January of 2020. Since then, it’s really grown into a passion as we’ve realized that creativity is endless, there’s always room for more good vibes and that we help bring joy to our customers with what we do.
Our name is a representation of my daughter and myself. We both have big brown eyes, ‘Brown-Eyed Girl’ by Van Morrison is one of my favourite songs, and I love and value all things natural – whether it be medicine, food, hair and hair care, etc.

3. What makes Brown Eyed Naturals Co different? Can you explain your products with details?

We mentioned we’re a family-owned business, but there’s a twist. As the Head Designer, I create most of the designs you see in our shop however, our co-designer is my vibrant and artistic 9-year old daughter who has a big imagination and keen eye. She’s along for the ride as we learn about running a business and living that entrepreneur life together.
We operate from a Christian worldview so that influences our products and designs. Faith, art, life, caring, and sharing are the main principles we live, work and design by and we hope to encourage and inspire you and even make you laugh!
Except for our instant-download prints (which you can print on your own), we use a print-on-demand model. This means our products are designed by us, but printed by and shipped directly from our printing partners. We want to ensure the best experience for our customers, so I stay involved from purchase to delivery to be sure that they are happy.

4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?

Our customers love us. In fact, we’ve received ONLY 5-star reviews to-date

It’s larger in size than many other planners I’ve seen and used in the past, which I really like because I’m not struggling to cram a ton of writing into small spaces.
