1. Can you introduce yourself and Just Plain Fabulous?
My name is Ryleigh Riddle, and I believe in all things FABULOUS! Just Plain Fabulous allows me to express my creative side through fashion and accessories.
2. How was Just Plain Fabulous born? How did you start?
Just Plain Fabulous was born as a side project for my older sister and me. Our other siblings were operating business together, and she and I offered handmade bracelets on the side. After a few years, my sister moved on, but I continued making jewelry. I then expanded the company to apparel. Customized t-shirts became a big part of what we had to offer.
3. What makes Just Plain Fabulous different? Can you explain your products with details?
Just Plain Fabulous is different because we adapt to the needs of the marketplace. We started with bracelets. Once the COVID-19 pandemic became fully recognized and a facemask shortage was identified, Just Plain Fabulous sprang to action. My mom helped me, and we hand-sewed masks and delivered them to elderly members of the community. I soon decided I wanted to customize facemasks similar to how I’d already begun doing with t-shirts. My grandmother helped my cause by teaching me how to sew on a sewing machine. That really took my facemask operation to the next level! With masks already donated to the elderly in my community, I began offering my designs to the general public. For facemasks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc., I have customized offerings for personal logos, athletic interests, faith-based designs, and more! I’m also looking to branch out into other interests, including artwork and eyewear.
4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?
The reactions I get from my customers are generally positive. They often post pictures on social media wearing my products! I really appreciate that and strive to always give them what they want.
5. What are the advantages of Just Plain Fabulous?
The advantages of Just Plain Fabulous are that we listen to our customers, and we appreciate them. My designs are highly customized, so I get as much input from customers as I can to make sure their needs are met. I also offer a discount for returning customers.
