1. Can you introduce yourself and OurCoordinates?

Hi, my name is Mike, I’m a 26-year-old living in saint Petersburg Florida & I am the owner and creator of OurCoordinates.com.
I got started in e-com and Shopify about 3 years ago and had a typical starter store I paid to have made (worst mistake you can make). But all of those lessons ended up being worth it, as you make mistakes – learn from mistakes – Do not repeat mistakes, and you will be doing fine!

2. How was OurCoordinates born? How did you start?

The whole idea for OurCoordinates came when I traveled to Greece. The trip was the experience of a lifetime, and I wanted to make it possible for me to live a more free life on my own terms. I started seeing a lot of people having success with dropshipping and eCommerce, so I jumped in. Starting off, I made a huge mistake of having someone build me a massive failure of a general store, lost a lot of money, and wanted to quit, but I gave it another attempt and found success in OurCoordinates.

3. What makes OurCoordinates different? Can you explain your products with details?

OurCoordinates stands out because of its ability to add personalization to your order and super easy with an interactive map to help our customers find the coordinates they would like to have engraved into their coordinates jewelry. The map was a huge hassle and I still encounter problems but it gets better daily through small improvements. Our products are customized bracelets, rings & Necklaces with the engravings our customer leaves us with the order.

4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?

Our customers tend to LOVE our products once they arrive. We like to think of customer service as the air in our lungs; you won’t survive without dependable customer service. Being there when a customer needs assistance or making a return hassle-free has been a game-changer for customer retention. Even if a customer makes a return or refund request, as long as you handle it kind, professional, and quickly, we’ve noticed the same customer returns down the road and makes a purchase of the same product or something else, but they come back!
Another way I have been able to boost conversions with my store is GREAT PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY! I can’t stress how important this one thing is to have. Once we took a day to capture our products in detail, high-quality images sell themselves. Ensure they can see the fabric, the texture, and any other slight details that can make someone choose you and not someone else!

5. What are the advantages of OurCoordinates?

When it comes to the advantages that OurCoordinates holds over others in the same market, I would have to say the biggest is that we stock inventory. Many people in the jewelry niche maintain zero inventory and rely solely on fulfillment centers and dropshipping. I did try that at first and. Encountered so many problems. Unreliable suppliers, shipping overseas, low-quality products, and improper packaging are all the things you and your customers will have to deal with.
Keeping product on hand enables you to make quick exchanges, returns and if a product is broken or needs to be replaced, it can arrive in a few days instead of weeks. That is a HUGE advantage in this industry that you will have to do if you want to be here for the long run.
