PredatorBWear Interview

Step into the world of PredatorBWear as we decode the secrets that have propelled them to e-commerce greatness. This exclusive interview provides a glimpse into the strategies and insights that define PredatorBWear’s prominence in the ever-evolving digital marketplace.

1. Can you introduce yourself and PredatorBWear?

Alison Columbus and Janice Voth. We are co-creators of PredatorBWear. We make predator protection harnesses for dogs.

2. How was PredatorBWear born? How did you start?

We have worked together at a Veterinary clinic in North Vancouver for almost 9 years. We have seen many dogs come in needed treatment and surgery because of attacks from predators. We decided to develop our harness to help keep dogs safer from attacks by coyotes, birds of prey and even other, bigger dogs.

3. What makes PredatorBWear different? Can you explain your products with details?

Our harnesses are made with hard hollow plastic spikes that are placed strategically where most attacks happen. They protect the neck, back and chest of the dogs. The spikes are held on with industrial strength Velcro and can be removed if needed. There are panels of mesh in between the spike strips to allow for some air flow so the dogs won’t overheat.

4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?

Our customers have loved their harnesses. We have sold to other countries such as Israel, Spain, Australia, USA and within Canada. Our customers say that the harnesses are well made and offer some added protection that their dogs didn’t have before.

5. What are the advantages of PredatorBWear?

One advantage would be that you don’t get the same protection from a regular, unspiked harness. Another advantage would be that our spike strips are removable so the harnesses can be worn at dog parks and around other happy, playful dogs without causing harm. (We don’t recommend wearing our harnesses at the dog park with the spikes on.)
Our goal with our harnesses is to keep as many dogs safer from attack. We want to stress that in now way do we want people to think that their dogs will be invincible with our harnesses on, these are to be used as a tool to keep them safer.
