1. Can you introduce yourself and TechAfrica Solutions?

I am Occasio Thompson, founder and director of TecAfrica Solutions Pty Ltd, our company specialises in a wider range of electronic equipment for any action activity, adventure, or industrial use which we supply across Africa. Our products include Navigation units, safety and security equipment, solar units, and installations, plus more.

2. How was TechAfrica Solutions born? How did you start?

TecAfrica solutions was established in 2019,It really started as a passion for gadgets and tech because of my retail background, having worked for South Africa’s big retail companies from a young age and mainly dealing with gadgets and training stuff members on different products,Tech became part of my DNA.
I used to have clients who would come to the store and would only want my assistance and were willing to wait for me in case I was busy.
This was a shock to me as there were like 15 other sales reps in our store, but they chose to wait for me, Its only later on I realised that my product knowledge was really good and I offered them world class service which is rear in South Africa and they felt comfortable with me as I had good communication skills, well still have lol. Even after I left or resigned from these retail companies, I had clients searching for me on social media platforms, just to contact me and seek for advice on new products.
This motivated me to turn my passion into a business.

3. What makes TechAfrica Solutions different? Can you explain your products with details?

What makes our company different is the fact that we not just selling products, but we rather finding tech solutions to problems people are facing in Africa, for instance we have partnered with a Solar company called Solar Moz where we intend to install solar systems across southern Africa at affordable rates, Most people can’t afford electricity in Africa especially in rural areas.
We offer world class service and offer after sale service as well ; we aim to develop the continent of Africa technologically.
Our products are of high quality, tested and proven.

4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?

We have the best amazing reviews ever and we are quickly becoming very popular in countries such as Kenya, Mozambique and Malawi, we are in a process of opening up small branches in these countries as well due to high demand of our products. Our most common feedback includes:

5. What are the advantages of TechAfrica Solutions?

Our brands are well known, within South Africa, we collect repairs from your door step and also deliver once repaired at no cost provided you bought the unit from us.
We beat any price if you find the product cheaper somewhere else.
