1. Can you introduce yourself and Tivor?
My name is Bo Vi. Together with my partner, Jezreel, we started Tivor out of faith. Tivor is a lifestyle brand based in Kuala Lumpur, currently offering watches as a start, we aim to offer more product such as wallets and bags in near future.
2. How was Tivor born? How did you start?
Combined from two words; time and favor, the idea ‘TIVOR’ came as an enlightening moment one day when founder I was having midnight deep thoughts about life. Feeling lost & defeated, he was reminded no matter how bad a day is, it is not the end. Every midnight as the time ticks passes 12:00am, a new day has come, signifying hope and opportunity. Time is a favor from God, every day is a new day, an extended grace.
Furthermore, as an architect myself, I always wanted to try to turn my vision into everyday object. I believe that a good design gives joy and uplift one’s quality of life. I stated with watches as it has a personal meaning and emotional appeal to it. There are other products planned in the pipeline as we speak.
3. What makes Tivor different? Can you explain your products with details?
We take pride in our details, aiming to strike the balance between elegance, usability, and durability, at an affordable price point. Check out our ALVA watch collection to understand what we mean. Before we launch a product, we make sure ourselves or our loved ones would be enjoying using the product.
4. What reactions do you get from your clients? Do they love your products?
Although we are off with a slow start as a new brand, we are glad that our clients love our product, many have cited the thoughtful details, from the elegant design, appropriate sizing, solid construction, and sustainable packaging. Oh, they are in mostly in awe with the dome class of our watches.
5. What are the advantages of Tivor?
We offer watches with Japanese movement, interchangeable straps, timeless design at an affordable price, backed by solid warranty. We aim to bring joy to the client whenever they use our product.
